DUNGGANON!

MRS. MELINDA PECHANGCO LIBERMAN

Ms. Melinda Pechangco Liberman or "Inday Minda" as we fondly call her was born and raised in Pandan, Antique, Philippines. She is the sixth of the eight children of Bonifacia Tagle and Jose Bautista Pechangco. Mrs. Melinda Pechangco Liberman Determined and hardworking, Indaywas always at the top of her class and made it as the first lady battalion commander and graduated Valedictorian in Pandan Bay Institute.

She studied and acquired her BS Nursing degree in Davao City and by a fortunate chance was able to migrate to the US, where she worked as an intensive-care nurse in New York City for many years. She was then married to Alexander Liberman in 1992, one of the most prestigious artist of his time and a very benevolent man, who loved and adored Inday Minda so deeply.

After years of being away from her hometown, this daughter of Pandan finally went back home and graced her hometown with her charm and warm smile. Embraced with the familiar love only Pandan can give, Inday Minda reminisced the old days and met old friends and together with the "Kyapnits" hope for a brighter future for Pandan.

YOUTH ACHIEVER

RAYMUND NONATO VELASCO GUMBOC

Youth Achiever of the Year? Who else could it be? Of course, our very own, it is no other than Raymund Nonato Velasco Gumboc, simply being called Monmon.

Raymund got elected this year as President of the Student Council, the most prestigious position one can ever have in a University like University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City, Philippines. He is still young and yet so vibrant to have a responsibility of leading the students in such a school. He is very talented and would like to make a difference being a youth. He is a friendly person and always with humility regardless of what he earned and achieved in school. He remains the same just like always.

"Don't blame yourself on the things beyond your control."

Raymund is the youngest among the five sons of Mr. Hernan Gumboc and Mrs. Vicenta Velasco Gumboc of Pandan, Antique, Philippines.
